Please read these competition rules carefully. By entering this competition, you are deemed to
have accepted these terms and conditions
- To enter this competition, you must be: (a) a south-east Queensland Resident; and (b) 18
years old or over at the time of entry. If you are not 18 the prize will be awarded to your
parent or guardian. - This competition is not open to employees (or members of their immediate families),
tenants or contractors of any participating business or a business located within Great
Western Super Centre. - How to Enter: To enter the competition, participants are required to enter the competition
using the entry method below:
- Hard Copy Entry Form:
o Complete an entry form with all relevant details including full name, email
address and phone number and nominate your choice of best dressed store.
o Agree to the terms and conditions of the promotion.
o Place the completed entry form in the competition box provided at participating
businesses.
- The Competition Period for The Great Western Christmas Showdown commences on
Wednesday 19th November 2025 at 9.00am and concludes on Wednesday 17th December 2025 at
9.00am. The Promoter may extend the Competition Period at its sole discretion (Extended
Competition Period). Details of any Extended Competition Period will be published on
www.greatwesternsupercentre.com.au . References in these terms and conditions to the
Competition Period include any Extended Competition Period, where applicable. - If you win a prize, within 48 working hours of the closing date you will be notified by phone or
email and your name will be published on www.greatwesternsupercentre.com.au . The
judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. - By entering the competition, the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity
and material as Great Western Super Centre may require. - The prize will not be transferable to another person.
- No part of a prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
- If an advertised prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to o]er an alternative
prize of equal or greater value. - The total prize pool for the The Great Western Christmas Showdown competition is valued
at a maximum of $1000.00. 1st Prize is One (1) $500 Great Western Super Centre EFTPOS
Gift Card. The retailer with the most customer votes for Best Dressed Store will receive One
(1) $500 Great Western Super Centre EFTPOS Gift Card. - Incorrectly completed entries will be disqualified.
- All prizes must be collected from the nominated retailer at Great Western Super Centre
1028 Samford Rd, Keperra QLD 4054, within three (3) months of the winner being
announced. Photo ID is required to collect the prize. If the winner does not collect the prize
within this time a redraw will occur. - No liability of Promoter: The Promoter accepts no responsibility whatsoever for late,
misplaced, lost or ineligible entries; or for technical di]iculties, network failures, or any
other issues preventing participation in the competition. The Promoter makes no
representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of the Prizes. To
the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever
which is su]ered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss which includes
but is not limited to loss of actual or anticipated profit, loss of goodwill, loss of reputation,
loss of opportunity, loss of savings and/or loss of contract) or for any personal injury
sustained in connection with the entry into this competition or acceptance of the Prize. This
condition is not intended to exclude any liability which cannot be excluded under Australian
consumer protection laws. Any such liability is limited to the resupply of the Prize. - The Promoter may cancel the competition and not award the prize(s) where circumstances
beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control prevent the Promoter from providing the prize(s).
Should the Promoter cancel the Competition the Promoter will: a) advertise that the
Competition has been cancelled by placing a notice on
